The course also developed and taught advanced tools, including astep-by-step solution procedure that students can apply to a variety of economic problems. Ph.D. students in economics, finance, and related fields from around the world wereencouraged to apply by having their advisors nominate them. Over 130 students wereadmitted to the course, and the top-performing students were invited to attend the 2023Princeton Initiative.18'
