On October 7, the Bendheim Center for Finance hosted a resume workshop for Princeton undergrads. In collaboration with Princeton’s Women in Economics and Policy (WEP), we invited students to refine their resumes and learn essential resume-building skills.
David Engel, BCF’s Manager of Career Development and External Relations, led the workshop, drawing on years of experience helping graduate students succeed in rigorous, highly competitive recruitment cycles.

Working with WEP to design the workshop, we focused on building a strong foundation to help students understand the most important aspects of a resume and how to make theirs stand out.
President of WEP, Xiyan Chen, said of the workshop, “I heard from many of the attendees that it was really helpful to see a visualization of what a resume should look like and how to improve theirs.” She continued, “Sharing a room with other women who are also just starting on their resumes is an incredible experience, and it makes everything feel less intimidating when you realize everyone else is learning too. This was something I wish I had experienced during my freshman year.”
BCF looks forward to hosting our next workshop with WEP to continue this series for students. Stay tuned for more details!
