Dennis is global co-head of the Quantitative Equity Alpha team within Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. The Quantitative Equity Alpha team invests across a broad spectrum of equity markets using proprietary quantitative models. The group manages a variety of commingled funds in addition to bespoke mandates for a global institutional investor base. In his role, Dennis oversees all aspects of the team’s activities across investment research, portfolio management, trading and business strategy.

Prior to assuming his current role, he was a senior portfolio manager and co-head of equity research and portfolio management for QIS. Previously, he was the portfolio manager for the team’s Emerging Market equity strategies and a senior equity researcher. Dennis joined QIS in 2009 in equity research where he was responsible for developing global stock selection models. He initially joined Goldman Sachs in 2005 and was named managing director in 2015.

Dennis earned a BA in Computer Science from Dartmouth College in 2001 and a master’s degree in Finance from Princeton University in 2009.
