On Class Day, Monday, May 27, the Bendheim Center for Finance awarded our top graduating Undergraduate Certificate in Finance students with the Birch Family Prize and the Kathleen Traynor Class of ’83 Research Fund Award. The 2024 award winners are Tucker Saland and Trisha Boonpongmanee!
Tucker Saland, an Economics major, received the Birch Family Prize. This prize is awarded to the graduate with the highest overall GPA in coursework related to the Certificate in Finance.
Trisha Boonpongmanee, an Operations Research and Financial Engineering major, won the Kathleen Traynor Class of ’83 Research Fund Award. This award is presented to the female graduate with the highest GPA in coursework related to the Certificate in Finance.
The Bendheim Center for Finance created the Certificate in Finance program in 2000, and 2024 graduates represent the final certificate class. Next year, students will have the opportunity to earn a Minor in Finance.
