BCF Alumna Awarded the Forte Foundation Fellowship for Women

The Bendheim Center for Finance is pleased to share that Duygu Gozeler Porchet, an alumna of the Master in Finance program, has recently been awarded the Forte Foundation Fellowship for Women as part of her admission to Saïd Business School, the University of Oxford’s Executive MBA Program.

Background & Award

After graduating from Princeton’s Master in Finance program in 2007, Porchet began her career in finance at Lehman Brothers before joining HSBC, where she advanced to Vice President of FX and Precious Metals in the Americas. Moving from New York City to London in 2011, Porchet joined Deutsche Bank and served in multiple vice president roles across the company over five years. She then joined Banque Lombard Odier & Cie SA as a Director. From 2016 to 2022, Porchet also held a Visiting Lecturer position at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Today, Porchet is a Managing Director at Gaia Impact Ventures, a boutique firm that connects investors with sustainable companies. She also works with multiple not-for-profit organizations and is a chair at the London chapter of the Arya Women Investment Platform, which invests in female founders.

In January, Porchet began the Executive MBA Program at Saïd Business School, focusing on Entrepreneurship, Private Equity, and Impact Investing. With her outstanding background and experience, Porchet was awarded one of only four available Forte Foundation Fellowships by the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School, a member of the Forte Foundation.

The Forte Foundation Fellowship is open to female candidates and looks at “academic achievement, professional achievement, a desire to inspire/act as a role model, and a readiness and enthusiasm to become a committed ambassador for the School,” per the executive MBA scholarships for women page of the Saïd Business School website.

Princeton University’s Bendheim Center for Finance congratulates Porchet on this exceptional achievement and wishes her continued success in the program, her career, and beyond.
