On the 22nd and 23rd of July, the 2024 CESifo Area Conference on Macro, Money, and International Finance was held in Munich. The event, sponsored by the Bendheim Center for Finance, brought together researchers working in macroeconomics and money to present and discuss their ongoing research and stimulate interaction and cooperation between them.
BCF Director Markus Brunnermeier organized the event and Benjamin Moll of the London School of Economics delivered the keynote address. The Bendheim Center for Finance at Princeton University was proud to support and sponsor CESifo’s 2024 Area Conference.
CESifo is a global, independent research network with members from across the world. Members are prominent economists with a broad spectrum of specialties, each of whom brings years of experience and a high level of expertise to our research areas. Collectively, our mission is to advance international scientific knowledge exchange about economics and economic policy, to strengthen the cooperation between the ifo Institute and LMU Munich, and to maintain Munich as a vibrant hub of economic debate in Europe. CESifo is funded by the State of Bavaria.
